This is a nice craft show, but I beleive it not to be my venue... There were lots of unique crafts but the shoppers at this show are looking for low cost Christmas presents (understandably - its a December show). It was very large around 200 vendors... The largest one they have ever done. The crowd was good, but the higher end art did not seem to be the pick of the show. I saw lots of crochet and things of that nature. I made my expenses back plus a little more, which was more than the photographer next to me did. But we made some new contacts and that is always a good thing.....

Fredericksburg Expo Craft Show, Dec 7,8
The Fredericksburg Expo is a wonderful place to hold this craft show. I was disapointed with the lack of higher end art / crafts. For the price of the booth fee, I expected to see higher end items. This show has great potential as it is in a great location. We had a lot of customers that came out on Saturday due the nasty weather that was to come Sunday. The show was cancelled an hour early on Sunday as the place was empty of customers and some of the vendors had packed up the night before with no intensions of showing Sunday. We loaded out in freezing rain... Not good times. All in all it was an ok show.

Bull Run Winery, Manassas VA - Nov 17th 2013
This was an art show held by Textbooks Africa. This is a beautiful venue, but the weather did not cooperate. As this is not a new event it was new at this particular venue. They hope to have it at the winery next year. It was rather cold that day so it held the people from coming to an outdoor event. I also beleive November is too cold for me to do an outdoor event as well. :)

Brooke Point High School, Dance Team Craft Show - Stafford VA, Nov 2, 2013
I have a love of dance so I was happy to participate in this event. It is a rather large event for a high school craft fair. There was a nice turn out and sales were good.

Fairfax Fall Festival, Fairfax Va, Oct 2013
This is a one day show and was originally scheduled for Oct 12th, with a raindate of the 13th. It rained both days. The show was held on Sunday the 13th of October. We started the day with a light rain and throughout the day the rain came and went. Even though it rained for most for most of the day, it did not hold back the crowds. the locals appreciate this show and will come out rain or shine. Sales were low for me but I did make some great contacts. Thanks to all who weathered the rain to support the artists.....

Fredericksburg Art in the Park / Oct 2013
This is always a wonderful time. Fredericksburg Art in the park was added to the farmers market one day per month from April - October in 2013. It is a small turnout of artists (about 12 or so). a band plays all day. It is a beautiful park and if the weather is nice the people come out to enjoy the day. I always do well at this very small venue. The Fredericksburg locals take care of local artists. I plan to participate in 2014. See you There!!!

Neptune Festival - Virginia Beach Boardwalk, Sept 2013
We enjoyed this show, it had an amazing back drop witht he ocean right behind your booth. It was a bit windy and we had sprinkles at times, but that did not hold back the massive crowds. This is a 4 day show and the locals truly support this show. I was located in booth 2306 which was in the middle of the show, this was a good location. There were lots of amazing artisans at this show, it is well juried.
The hotels on the boardwalk are expensive so we chose a hotel about a mile from the boardwalk, good choice...

Artsfest - Anne Marie Gardens, Solomon Island, MD / Sept 2013
I absolutely loved this show... The setting is so amazing. The people in the area of Solomon's have the best attitude and they truly appreciate art. This was one of my best shows yet. I am very excited to have found this venue. I look forward to the show in 2014.

Artisans in the Park, Great Neck Park, Va Beach
Artisans in the Park at Great Neck Park VA Beach.... We enjoyed this art show. It was full of talented artists and the location was beautiful. We met lots of wonderful people. We loved our location, we were on the corner under a shad tree. The volunteers working the event were very nice, helpful and organized. It was a nice experience.

Seawall Art Show - Portsmouth VA August 2013
We had incredible weather this entire weekend. What a fantastic show. The staff and volunteers of the Porstmouth Seawall art show are unbeleivably helpful and hard workers. They were always there, bringing us coffee, muffins, water or offering bathroom breaks.... They were fantastic.

Arts In The Park, Richmond VA, May 2013
We had a fantastic time at this art show. We met several fantastic artists and learned alot. We look forward in participating in this show in the coming years. Even though it was chilly weather both Saturday and Sunday, there was still a great turnout.

Fine Art Festival, Fredericksburg VA 2012
Fine Art Festival, Fredericksburg VA, September 2012 - This was a lovely show. We had a very good time, the live music was wonderful. The Via Colori show was amazing. We met a lot of very nice folks. This show is very small, but very very nice. I do not plan to attend this show for 2013 as I am looking into the Ann Marie Gardens Artsfest in Solomons Island, MD...... Exciting.

Artisans in the Park at Great Neck Park VA Beach.... We enjoyed this art show. It was full of talented artists and the location was beautiful. We met lots of wonderful people.
